Working at NGT
Work on energy infrastructure that makes a difference
At NGT, you’ll work on infrastructure that plays a vital role in the energy supply of the Netherlands and Northwestern Europe. We safely and reliably bring energy ashore from the North Sea—24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
This requires expertise, responsibility, and teamwork.
NGT is a compact organization with short lines of communication and a wealth of technical expertise. That’s precisely why we give you the freedom to take on responsibility, contribute ideas, and make a real difference. Whether you’re working on our offshore infrastructure, our facilities in Uithuizen, asset management, projects, cybersecurity, HSE, or our operations: your work directly contributes to the safety and reliability of our infrastructure.

Today and in the Future
Our infrastructure was developed for the transportation and processing of natural gas and plays a key role in this today. At the same time, we are looking ahead.
The North Sea is evolving into an increasingly diverse energy region. Existing pipelines, platforms, and landing sites may take on new roles in this context, including for hydrogen and CO₂.
Working at NGT therefore means tackling two challenges at once: keeping today’s energy supply safe and reliable, and exploring how our infrastructure can continue to add value to tomorrow’s energy system.
Small team. Big responsibility.
At NGT, we work with a relatively small group of professionals on a large-scale and technically complex infrastructure.
You can see that in the way we work together. The lines of communication are short, responsibilities are clear, and expertise matters. We expect people to work independently, take initiative, and hold each other accountable when necessary.
At the same time, we do it together. Every day, we work alongside colleagues, contractors, offshore operators, manufacturers, and other partners toward the same goal: a safe, reliable, and future-proof infrastructure.
Safety First
Working on critical energy infrastructure comes with a great deal of responsibility. That is why safety is always our top priority.
We want everyone who works for or with NGT to be able to work safely and return home safely at the end of the day. This requires not only sound procedures and technical measures, but above all professional conduct, looking out for one another, and the willingness to stop work if something doesn’t feel safe.
At NGT, safety is not a separate program. It is an integral part of how we work.
Room for Expertise
We’re looking for people who excel in their field and are willing to take responsibility for their work.
People who remain curious, dare to be critical, and understand that reliability comes from attention to detail. Professionals who enjoy working together but can also make decisions independently.
In return, we offer a lot: a professional work environment, interesting technical challenges, short decision-making chains, and the opportunity to make a visible contribution to an organization and infrastructure that matter.
