Our People
Expertise Makes the Difference
Our people are the foundation of NGT. With their knowledge, experience, and dedication, they ensure the safe, reliable, and responsible management of our energy infrastructure every day.
For nearly 50 years, NGT has managed an extensive offshore pipeline system, platforms, and onshore facilities. This requires specialized knowledge, technical expertise, and a strong safety mindset.
That is why we continuously invest in the development of our employees through education, training, and knowledge sharing. We also attract qualified technical professionals who meet our high standards for safety, quality, and responsibility.
NGT is also a recognized training company for VAPRO process operators and thus actively contributes to the development of technical talent.
Good Employment Practices
We want people to enjoy working at NGT, to continue developing their skills, and to take on responsibility within their field.
That’s why we offer a professional and healthy work environment, good employment conditions, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Communication lines within our organization are short, and expertise matters. We encourage employees to take initiative, remain critical, and speak up when necessary.
After all, the quality of our infrastructure is ultimately determined by the people who manage it every day.
Executive Board
Accountable for today. Focused on the future.
NGT’s Executive Board is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company, the implementation of our strategy, and the safe, reliable, and responsible management of our energy infrastructure.
The continuity of our current operations is central to this. At the same time, the Executive Board looks ahead to the changing role of energy infrastructure in the North Sea and the opportunities to ensure that NGT’s existing infrastructure remains valuable in the long term.
Leadership with Responsibility
Managing critical energy infrastructure requires careful decision-making and a clear balance between safety, reliability, social responsibility, and economic continuity. The executive board is responsible for, among other things:
-
strategy and long-term development;
-
safety, health, and the environment;
-
operational and technical performance;
-
asset integrity and investments;
-
cybersecurity and resilience;
-
financial performance and risk management;
-
organization and employees;
-
relationships with shareholders, customers, governments, and other stakeholders.
The Executive Board is accountable within NGT’s governance structure and works closely with the Supervisory Board and the shareholders.
