Safe by Design. Reliable by Performance.
Managing critical energy infrastructure entails a fundamental responsibility. Safety, the integrity of our infrastructure, and environmental performance are therefore an integral part of every decision we make.
Safety
Safety is our top priority in everything we do.
Managing energy infrastructure safely and reliably requires constant attention to people, facilities, and the environment. At NGT, process safety, health, and occupational safety are therefore an integral part of our business operations.
We work systematically to identify, control, and, where possible, eliminate risks. We do this through clear safety standards, meticulous maintenance, continuous monitoring, periodic inspections, and actively learning from incidents and near-misses.
Safety is not just a matter of procedures and systems. We foster a culture in which employees and contractors take responsibility, hold each other accountable, and ensure that work is always performed safely.
Everyone home safely—every single day.
Asset Integrity
Reliable infrastructure starts with demonstrable technical integrity.
NGT manages offshore and onshore energy infrastructure that must be able to operate safely and reliably for many decades. Asset integrity is therefore an essential part of our business operations.
We monitor the condition of our pipelines, platforms, facilities, and systems throughout their entire lifecycle. Through inspections, monitoring, preventive maintenance, risk analyses, and targeted investments, we ensure that our infrastructure meets applicable technical and regulatory requirements.
Our approach is risk-based and forward-looking. We focus not only on the current function of our assets but also on opportunities for safe reuse and service life extension.
Well-maintained infrastructure forms the foundation for a reliable energy supply—today and tomorrow.
Environment & Emissions
Managing energy infrastructure also means taking responsibility for our environment.
NGT strives to prevent and minimize the environmental impacts of its activities as much as possible. In doing so, we focus on, among other things, emissions to air, soil, and water; energy consumption; waste streams; and the responsible use of raw materials.
We monitor our environmental performance and take measures to prevent and reduce emissions—including methane emissions—as much as reasonably possible.
When it comes to maintenance, modifications, and future development of our infrastructure, we take environmental considerations into account from the very beginning. Reusing and extending the lifespan of existing infrastructure can help limit the use of new materials and the impact of new infrastructure.
In this way, we combine reliable energy infrastructure with a careful and responsible approach to our environment.
Minimal impact, maximum responsibility.
