Transparency of Market Information
NGT is committed to transparent, ethical, and well-functioning European energy markets.
In accordance with the Regulation on Wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency (REMIT), NGT publishes relevantinside information pertaining to its infrastructure that could potentially influence the wholesale energy market. For the link to the EEX Transparency Availability, click here.
Publication of Inside Information
When an event occurs that meets the criteria for inside information under REMIT, this information is published as soon as possible and in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
This may include, among other things:
- planned or unplanned restrictions on transmission or handling capacity;
- malfunctions or technical incidents affecting the availability of infrastructure;
- maintenance work with a relevant impact on capacity or availability;
- other events that must be classified as inside information under REMIT.
NGT assesses on a case-by-case basis whether information qualifies as inside information and how and within what timeframe it must be disclosed.
